Bequests

Planned giving is a way to make a lasting contribution to the animals of our community. Move to Act would be honored to receive bequests and would commit to being a good steward of your donation. Examples of this type of charitable giving include bequests through your will or living trust; gifts that give you income for life, including a charitable gift annuity, charitable remainder trust, or pooled income fund; and ways to leave a bequest without a will or trust, including retirement plans, insurance policies, and bank/investment accounts. Contact us for further information at info@movetoact.org.

Donation of Stocks

Move to Act is prepared to accept donations of stocks. The options for doing so are as follows:

  1. Have your broker re-issue the stock in Move to Act’s name, so it can be deposited into Move to Act’s brokerage account.
  2. Have your broker sell the stocks and wire the proceeds to Move to Act as a cash donation.
  3. If you hold the physical securities, you can directly mail the certificate(s) without any endorsement or assignment to the address below.

Please contact MTA at 317-641-9300 or info@movetoact.org for further details.
